It’s a problem that has led developers to build thriving software platforms, which now store, process, and share thousands of files each day, from photos to spreadsheets. The modern-day ability to exchange information instantly has made workflows more efficient than ever, but this need for speed has drawbacks, too. There must be something else going on, as UMS will enable it again. It's still impossible to ignore that so many of you have reported that turning off IPv4 for Java has helped with the issue. ![]() ![]() That will result in UMS not being able to "see" the renderers and vice versa. The reason for this is very simple: as UMS only supports UPnP on IPv4 and so does most UPnP/DLNA devices, we don't want Java to only use IPv6 if both IP stacks are available. What is a mystery to me is how this can make any difference, as I'm very sure that I remember that UMS sets this to "true" during initialization anyway, overriding the value you might set at launch. IPv6 support was added to the DLNA specification in the 2016 revision, and our UPnP library doesn't support IPv6 either. UMS doesn't support IPv6, neither do most of the renderers out there. "ist" is an OS X specific file, so it doesn't exist on other platforms. This setting can be be to either "true" or "false" when launching Java (from the command line) or from a script. To clear up some confusion, "4Stack=true" is a Java setting that tells the Java Virtual Machine (which runs UMS) to prefer IPv4 over IPv6 if both are available. I've just read through this thread, and my conclusion (I don't have a PS4 for testing) is that this is most likely a network configuration issue. As Mozilla lurched from one misguided design decision to another, breaking extensions and frustrating users, Pale Moon kept its traditional, highly functional interface. Pale Moon was an optimized version of Firefox, eliminating some features most people did not use in return for better performance and stability. So I cannot agree with these criticisms, and recommend Pale Moon to everyone who wants to use a less bloated and more customisable browser. Windows XP compatibility is not broken, you only need to use the Atom targeted builds. There are a few web sites that misbehave, but not more than with Chromium. 105 extensions enabled and 30 disabled, these all work flawlessly). All of my favourite extensions work (I have atm. With regard to the incompatibilities mentioned in the previous reviews: as of now (Sep 2015) I don't really feel this a big problem. Although PM has its flaws (coming from the Firefox heritage, like high memory consumption), all-in-all I am satisfied with it and use it exclusively. I recently returned to PM after being disappointed in Chromium-based browsers (Opera and SRWare Iron in particular). Reading the latest reviews of Pale Moon (hereafter PM) I felt like writing a review, since I think writing this browser off is a mistake. When the Basic Setup Wizard asks you to set up libraries, it means you are organizing your media collections for Plex Server. It will lead you through a short series of steps to perform actions like naming your server and setting up your media libraries. Open your browser, type and you will be redirected to the plex website. You can now proceed with the server configuration. To set the correct ownership, enter the following command: sudo chown -R plex: /opt/plexmedia The Plex Media Server runs as the user plex, which must have read and execute permissions to the media files and the directories. Step 4: Configuring Plex Media Serverīefore we start the Plex setup wizard, first we will create the directories that will store the Plex media files: sudo mkdir -p /opt/plexmedia/ At this point, you have a Plex media server installed on your Raspberry Pi.
